Many of who have already heard about the first sermon John Macarthur preached at this years Shepherd’s Conference. The sermon was entitled “Sovereign Election, Israel and eschatology” and it seems to have made quite a stir amongst many. He stated at this year’s Resolved Conference that the sermon was going to be on “why any self-respecting Calvinist is Premillenial”. That alone had many ears open and bothered many, including myself. I am looking forward to hearing this defense of pre-millenialism, although from what I hear there isn’t much to look forward to. I am not in the least convinced of this eschatological position, and I have a feeling this sermon will only enhance that.

You’ve actually gotten the subject and title mixed up. He stated that the subject was sovereign election, Israel, and eschatology and that the title of the sermon was “Why Any Self-Respecting Calvinist is Premillennial”. Good times.
That’s what I get for not being there, and only reading about it.
Thanks for the correction man.
